The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and well-kept. I enjoyed the on-site bar, and it had a good atmosphere. Parking was ample and free. The breakfast offered many choices and I found it very satisfying. The location was convenient for local transport. The room had good television and tea and coffee facilities. The shower always provided hot water. I especially liked the room size, it was nice and spacious. I was able to work at the desk without feeling cramped. The bath in the room was good and clean. I noticed lots of handprints inside the door needed cleaning. I found the location safe and easy to access. The hotel had nice decor, bedroom 27 was good. I thought the hotel was beautiful. I will definitely book here again.

a decent experience
freshly cooked meals reasonable price faulty key unclean tiles
the breakfast was good. freshly cooked meals and pastries were available. the bar and restaurant looked nice and the food was at a reasonable price.
the room key didn't work properly. staff had to open the door each time. hairs were present on the tiles next to the bath for both nights.

breakfast included several options. the staff at the front desk was helpful when i checked in. i found free parking at the hotel. i also had hot water at all times .
The room i had could benefit from a refurbishment. It felt a bit outdated compared to what i expected.

a tender escape
fresh breakfast clean room peaceful view
The new management clearly cares about the experience. breakfast was generous and quite fresh, far better than before. i stayed in the same room i have for years. It was very nice and neat. the views across the garden were so peaceful, a gentle start each day.
the room did feel a bit dark, and the heating was not as strong as i hoped. it made it hard to get cozy. a warmer room would have added so much.

my double room felt spacious and clean, with ample storage for all my belongings. the bed was comfortable. i appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining the room's condition, the linens were super clean, too.
